Open the OnCallManager app in Slack, click "New Schedule" on the home page, then follow the setup wizard to add team members and configure your rotation settings. For a detailed walkthrough, see our documentation.
Yes! Open the overflow menu (three dots) on your rotation and select "Override on-call." From there, you can modify or remove any existing overrides to restore the original schedule.
When you disconnect your Google Calendar, all calendar events created by OnCallManager will be automatically removed from your calendar. Your on-call rotations in Slack remain unaffected.
Click the overflow menu (three dots) on any rotation and select "Edit." You can then add new members or remove existing ones. The schedule will automatically recalculate to distribute shifts fairly.
Ensure OnCallManager has permission to manage user groups in your workspace. Check that the user group is properly linked to your rotation. If issues persist, try re-creating the rotation or contact support.
Notification timing is determined by your rotation's shift schedule. Edit the rotation to change when shifts start, which will also affect when notifications are sent to the designated channel.
Yes! You can create unlimited rotations with our Basic plan. Each rotation can have its own team members, schedule, and notification channel. This is perfect for organizations with multiple on-call teams.
